Sorrento Residence
An original limestone cottage built in 1877 gets an upgrade for intergenerational living and summer entertaining.
Located across the road from Victoria’s famous Sorrento Beach, this residence is all about old meets new. Creating a balance of classic and contemporary, the original 19th century limestone walls meet X-Bond Microcement almost everywhere else.
Creating seamless continuity from inside to out, X-Bond is on display from floor to ceiling, walls to joinery, inside the showers and submerged in the pool.
The intention was to bring Mediterranean vibes to Australia. If you’ve ever wondered what material is used in those luxury Santorini villas, microcement is the answer.
